Help with ring sizes?

Hey I'm still pretty new to chastity play, and I just had a question.
Soooo I've been alternating between ring sizes, trying to find the best one for me. The one I'm wearing right now is on the smaller side. It fits pretty comfortably actually! The issue is that when I get aroused, I sometimes get an uncomfortable feeling in my balls. It feels like their being lightly squeezed I guess. This didn't happen with bigger ring sizes that I tried.
It's not necessarily a bad thing I mean! I heard there could/should be some level of pain when you get aroused, but I wanted to make sure this is a feeling that is supposed to happen. Otherwise I'm worried I'm screwing my dick up somehow lol.

If you can put you finger under the ring while it's on I think you should be ok.

If no changes in color or warmth there is no issue.

Yes discomfort is expected when trying to get hard in a cage.

If you didn't get pressure on your balls with bigger ring, that ring was probably too large.
