Hi from the UK

Hi, welcome to the Mansion. Did you take any measurements before looking for a device?

I have in the past. The problem is I'm a grower not a shower. I'm 7 inches erect and about 3 to 4 flacid and go smaller after I work out. I either get one to fit my erect cock and it slides out, or I get one to fit my flaccid cock and it either becomes to painful or pushes the cage off.

I've bought one of those rings with the strap that goes around your waist this time so I'm hoping that will fix it.

I might be able to help you out... You got right idea looking for a support strap, but I found that a cage that's just under my flaccid length will prevent any expansion and thus no painful partial erections. I'm a grower like you, but on the more "extreme" end of this... When I'm flaccid, I'm about an inch and before I started chastity, I was about 6 inches fully erect. I found that when I get a partial erection in the cage, it's actually painful because my cock wants to go out all the way and it cant. So, I wear a cage that keeps me at my flaccid length 24/7. Yes, the cage can push forward during night time erections and during intense arousal, but I got used to it over time. My flaccid length is about an inch, so I wear a cage that's 0.8 inches and I stay locked in it 24/7/365, save for a 5 minute hygiene unlocking once per week, but that's literally the only time I'm out of it.

Did you have any problem with the thickness of your head?, the device I just bought, my head is to thick for it.

My cock head fits nicely in my cage, but you are right to keep that in mind. You should measure your cock head's thickness as well. Keep in mind, with a "forced to stay flaccid" cage, that thickness may increase a bit but that's perfectly normal.

Also, I recommend you get a cage with multiple ring sizes (if you haven't already) to dial in your proper ring size. If you your ring is too loose, then an erection attempt will push the cage forward and a ring that's too tight may restrict blood flow to the testies, so you need to find that "Goldilocks" size ring for you. I have a measurement method for that as well.

How do you measure for that?

There's no actual name for it, but I call it the "One knuckle" measurement.

Follow these steps:
  1. Select your ring size and lock yourself up
  2. Take your finger and soap it up
  3. insert your finger inside the ring, on the underside of your ball sack in between your testies.
  4. The first knuckle of your finger should reach the ring and no further.
If your first knuckle slips past the ring, then the ring is too big. If you can't reach the ring then it's too small.

The inside diameter of the HT-V5 is a bit on the small size. It seems to be something often not mentioned in the descriptions, but larger diameters are available from other suppliers.

Nice to see I'm not the only one with a very small flaccid length, although I can't boast the 6 inches fully erect. Lucky if I made it to 5".
Also the 24/7/365 except for the weekly deep clean, which includes a device sterilisation. I'm a self-locker with my wife as the emergency keyholder. My normal key is attached to the towel rail using a timer padlock.

I always liked the clear ones, something about being able to see it but not touch it seems hot to me.

Well, there's another practical reason for starting off with a clear cage and that is to see just what's going on inside the cage when something just seem/feel right. For example, when I first started chastity, I didn't realize that my cock could actually get stuck in bad position because I'm a grower. When I saw what was going on, my solution was to lube up my cock just before putting the shaft on and it worked. Also, when I wanted to get a short cage with total coverage, I needed to see it was always in a good position and not jammed up. When I saw what I needed to know, then I was able to order a cage that was better shaped for me. And that's a good reason to start with a clear see-through cage.
