Jailbird Review

I've been wearing MM devices for many years, and have switched from petroleum-based lubricants to baby powder. It lets the skin slide in the cage without being slippery, it keeps everything dry throughout the day, and most importantly it washes off easily and completely in the shower.

My cage isn't removed for cleaning, but when it comes off for play (sometimes after months) it's never gunked up or in need of any special cleaning.

Before bed I do rub a tiny (~3 mm) bead of lanolin on the underside of the base ring, and it lasts much longer and is much less messy than any other lubricant or lotion I've tried.
