For reference, I ride a super sport, so I'm in a crouched position with the pelvis up on the tank.

I tired riding for the first time a while back with my Jailbird. Oh my F*#& the pressure it puts on your pelvic bone is excruciating.

I do have a Bijou from Evotion Wearables on the way. I'm hoping the minimalist design of the tube only cage will help.

The only solution I can come up with, pending the improbable solution with the Bijou, would be to unlock for riding :(

I can't be the only rider here. How do you get around the impracticality of the situation? I'm 5'8 so I cant exactly sit further from the tank comfortably without going into a tuck– I'm no Marc Marquez.

What are your thoughts?

I know how you feel! I had a sport bike back when I was wearing my jailbird and it wasn’t enjoyable...

I have a tube device from Steelwerks and it has been comfortable to wear for everything I do. As long as you get the fit right I’m sure the Evotion device will work out great!

I ride cruiser its not too much of a problem most of the time. I found riding a sport bike near impossible. Even short ride I think would be taking a risk.

I'm hoping so. Good to know I may have been on to something with the PA :+1:

Sport bikes are pretty impossible in many ways. Might have to chalk this up to another loss

Get a different bike. I ride a H-D ultra and no problems being caged

Been toying with the idea. I sat on an MT-09 the other day at the dealer. I was shocked I could flat foot it while straddling. I definitely fell in love with it

My ride is a trike converted 'Glide. Leaning back on the back rest, or against my wife, feet on the highway pegs...no problem. Crotch rockets always looked uncomfortable caged or not.

My back hates me after the first hour usually. Starting to catch an eye for other styles, but I'm still on my learner. It kills me to think I would get rid of her.

Wearing a bon4m small or bon4m micro ... riding a Vmax is okay... I guess it's the overall sitting position on a super bike / sports bike... leaning forwards on top of the fuel tank...

I have a Harley and I have to unlock to ride. I’ve tried different cages and none work.

I ride a 50cc scooter to and from work, only about 5 miles each way! Just like sitting in a chair really!

I also own and ride a motorcycle but haven’t had any issues while wearing a cage. I ride a cruiser which doesn’t cause any issues.

When I read your post I instantly thought about getting a seat designed that allowed room for your cage that would put a lot less pressure on it. I’ve seen bicycle seats designed for men that are well endowed that have an indented area for this purpose.

You could always switch to a cruiser. Just kidding I know thats not an option once a sport bike guy always a sport bike guy.

Know exactly what you mean......my mate thought I was having a seizure as I moved about trying to get comfy......I have to remove mine.....can't enjoy the ride when I wear my cage.......oh do you get it...lol

I have a 1950 panhead- the cages work,it’s the old Harley that gives me all the grief!!:)

That made me laugh haha

I actually have a Saddleman that's supposed to be ergonomic. It has a channel that runs thru the middle to give your boys a place to rest. Problem is I'm short so I'm literally up against the tank.

I'd definitely ride an Indian when I could afford it :p

I'm really hoping the tube design works out when it gets here. It seems like most of the pressure comes from the top of the A Ring.

If that doesn't work I may have to test out bikes at the dealer and see what is manageable :+1:

I ride a Yamaha fzs with custom gel seat in HT3 nano with no real problems. Slight pinch every now and then but my leathers hold everything where it should be

Waaaay back in my college days, I had a series of sportbikes with the last being a GSXR750. I was always thrashed after a couple hours in the saddle (that was long before I found chastity). These days I ride an '02 BMW R1150r and a '74 r75/6.
I can ride either of these locked up, and while it doesn't wind out to 13k like my old bike, the 1150 is every bit as fun as my Gixxer was and I can ride it all day long (I've done as much as 600+ miles on a day).

However, while it's possible to ride locked up, my wife has decreed that being locked up and riding don't mix so I respect that :)
