As much as I love my CB6000S, I had to stop wearing it regularly and switch to either my Keyholder's Prize or my Vice Mini V2 cages, because the padlock rattles loudly when I walk around. Anyone have any suggestions to keep it quiet?

Trade up from the CBx plastic mess and get a cage with an integrated lock.

I'm working on it... I have another steel cage on the way and another bookmarked in case it doesn't work out.

Two ways of using the rubber band, depending on the cage one may work better than the other.

You can wrap the band just around the padlock body - the downside is sometimes it works itself off. Or you can wrap the band around both the cage tube and padlock - the downside to that is the band going under the tube can irritate your scrotum or pull on hairs.

A similar but neat and tidy way to solve the problem is to use some heatshrink around the padlock body, the size used for automobile battery cables is ideal - you can get it in almost any colour too, not just red or black!

I just wrapped a rubber band around the padlock itself and it works pretty good. :+1:

Or use some ptfe tape around the lock or around the lock and the cage, it will hold it firmly in place. My Madam likes the sound of the lock tapping against the cage.

Mines a small brass padlock it's made noise maybe twice in several months and it was no worse then change or keys. Makes me wonder what gigantic padlocks people are using lol.

You're so much more aware of what that tiny noise is yourself than anyone around you would be. Very few people would notice the individual sound, or even if they did, they wouldn't think it was a chastity device; Although once I did have someone at work suspect me from hearing it click when I was going down a flight of stairs.

You can also take the soft side part of Velcro and glue it to the outside casing of the lock. Works great
