I'm taking advice I've heard from three different concerned parties and am angling for almost immediate meetups at local munches:

  • If we don't connect, there's other people to talk to.

  • If they balk at attending munches, that says a bit about their willingness to connect with the local sex positive or kink scene.

  • I'm less likely to initially swoon over lovely email messages before I've actually met the person.

Ultimately, if I meet someone - great. If I don't - great. I'm fine either way.

Solid strategy. And meeting them in that format is fairly safe from an initial meeting standpoint. I've never been to a munch- that's something that's way too far for my wife unfortunately. Again- good luck and have fun!

Thank you for the offer. However, given all I've seen about fit, sizing, etc. I'd rather start off with something that can work as a flexible quick fix rather than have a bunch that only for a very narrow size and build set.

D'aww! Thank you. I'm now the keyholder for a potential submissive. We're getting acquainted and figuring out what that might look like.

When discussing collaring, I remembered the collaring agreement a well-known top at the time had with his hench-switch: most of it clearly laid out how he was not going to affect her relationship with her husband, her daughter, or her work; and how any negative affect their relationship had on either would result in a dissolution of the relationship.

Given the sort of commitments this gentleman has, if I do take him on I expect I'll write up something similar.
