Smaller the cage, the better?

This may not be a new topic to the experienced folks here, but I found it fascinating and wanted to share my latest experience.
My KH (wife) and I partake in chastity, on and off, over the years and I’ve graduated from the cheap cages to the Vice standard —> mini —> micro

To my utter surprise, the micro is the most comfortable of the lot and from initial impressions, this looks like something I can wear longer term.

I’m about 6-7 inches erect and this is a revelation. As far as I can tell, I haven’t lost any size. To top it all, my KH insisted it be in the color pink

I wonder if this isn’t just me that is baffled and/or this is normal.

I've had the same experience. I have 4 different sizes of the Cherry Keeper. The two smallest are by far the most comfortable, The micro is about 1.5 inches in overall length. Which is about 1 inch shorter than my most flaccid state.

When I think about the first 'cheap cage' I bought trying to figure it out compared to where I am now I feel like there should be a rule:

Measure yourself. Decide what size you think would be ideal as your first cage. Reduce all of the measurements:

• Length by 2/3rds
• Diameter by half
• Base ring is more difficult but go at least a size smaller

I’m in the same boat as you, I’ve played around with retracing my foreskin and locking up but it inevitably gets undone. I’m now used to it being natural.
I try to clean more frequently through.

it’s crazy how now I sometimes forget I’m wearing a cage, just did a bunch of errands and it was like nothing was there.
Next test will be the gym…

We did try a bigger cage at one point, but my wife never liked the look of all the extra room when I was flaccid and it gave me skin movement issues when i would start an erection. Mine is slightly smaller then my length when flaccid and when my wife want to up the teasing she will unlock me so I can put on a macro device.

I don’t see myself going any smaller than my current cage, it’s somewhere around 2” total length, including the cage, gap and ring. The tube is 40mm so 1.57”.
My first expensive cage was an MCN adaptus and those tubes are 2.14”, and once I went smaller, the night time erections became so much easier to sleep through, and everything about daily tasks or exercise was much more comfortable.

I do have one of the cheap Chinese cages that’s basically just a penis head cap, it’s pretty comfortable to wear for the day, but I wouldn’t want to sleep in it.

The only downside I see to smaller cages is that cleaning without removing is all but impossible. If you have extra room in the cage it's more possible to get in all the nooks and crannies.

I think smaller is always better. you shouldn't be "bouncing off the walls" of the cage. It should be snug to tight. The only downside I see to smaller cages is that cleaning without removing is all but impossible. If you have extra room in the cage it's more possible to get in all the nooks and crannies.

I noticed even a little room, caused movement and got uncomfortable after a few hours. Agreed on the cleaning, I am on a daily cleaning schedule.

We went through very similar experience, finding the smaller cage & ring allow less movement=less friction=less irritation. Interestingly, the small cage also provides more stimulation as it is constantly constricting, and she loves the bulge she creates behind the ring

If you are a grower, the best advice is to use as short a cage as possible and with adequate girth so that you can collapse the member down like a collapsable sight glass. This is easier to bare than needing to stuff a large device into your pants.

I found that partial erections for me are actually painful, because I'm a grower and when my cock starts to expand out, it'll do whatever it takes to make me allow it to go all the way out... If the erection is blocked from the start and there's no expansion, then nothing happens and there's no pain, only frustration from not being able to get hard. So, I'm in process of finding the right micro cage for me.

For the “growers” in the group, how does having a very small cage effect you when your try and get an erection. My current cage is very snug fitting but definitely could be shortened. When my body attempts an errection the cafe gets pulled very hard. My balls will turn a purplish color and a lot of my penis will end up stiffening behind the cage if that makes sense.
