It happend almost 2 weeks ago.
Everybody here likes to speak about emergency keys. And not involving others in our lifestyles.
But in reality things evolve differently...
Almost two weeks ago when doing some work at home, I have fallen down the ladder. Or better, with the ladder down the stairs. It felt and looked bad. But after a moment it looked no broken bones and I was kind of ok... Just a large wound on my leg. My Miss helped me to cover it and to ER I went.
Soon I found myself in xray room. And only then I realised I have my steel cb on.
So, what good is emergency key if even when Miss is at home there is absolutely no chance of thinking about it when emergency comes.

After I was checked in ER the doctor examined me, and told me it doesn't look bad from the outside but to rule everything out I had to have ultrasound and some xrays taken.
Everything was ok with ultrasound and after IV, when I came to xrays I was pretty much at my normal self.
In xray room they put me under the machine an explained me all the photos they need to take. For a pelvis photo nurse asked me to lower my pants a bit. I said I have no underwear so she gave me a towel to cover my parts. I didn't know what or how to say so I just said that I have some steel parts down there that I can't remove. She didn't even looked confused or something and just casually said that in that case it will just have to stay for the photo and that is should't affect the visibility of the pelvis.
After all the xrays were taken she told me to use the towel and put my shorts back on in some privacy. I saw nothing but a professional behaviour in her.
When explaining all of this to my Miss who also works in one of the departments of helth care, we both laughed and imagined how many people later saw that photo and how many then heard about a guy with a thing down there...

After a couple of hours I was sent home. Nothing broken, no internal injuries, just 15 stitches on my leg and bruised all my right side.
They told me to rest and take painkillers if the pain is bad.

12 days later leg still hurts a little but other than that I'm fine.
And today I received all the pictures taken as I said my gp would like to see them.

Uploaded pic of my pelvis in my gallery.

Amazing story. Yes...that is always one of the scenarios Mistress/Wife ( who also did work in a hospital ironically) and I have discussed. Hope we never have to cross that bridge but if it happens I hope it turns out as well as yours did.

Glad to hear nothing broke and hope you get all better soon. I don't ever take my keys with me because I'll be too tempted to go to a rest room and unlock myself for a quick wank. I have a problem with self control and just can't trust myself with an "emergency key" I do keep a key in the bathroom for hygiene but I have very strict rules for its use.

That’s a one off x-ray pic for sure. There’s definitely not too many of those out there. It’s definitely a good practice to have access to emergency keys for situations just like this. I would be in the same boat tho as I don’t have easy access to an emergency key either, I depend solely on my key holders for emergency release. We were thinking about a locking necklace that is somewhat sturdy but can be broken in case of an emergency that has a key locked on it for that purpose.

I only needed my emergency key once.
I phoned my Keyholder and she told me where it was hidden.
Under a bit of the carpet in the boot of my car.
I don't know where it's hidden now.
finger crossed I never will!

Glad to hear your on the mend @Rider9, sounded like it was a horrendous fall, and you were very lucky to escape it with what injuries you did get.
That's always my fear of getting caught out without the emergency key, especially in work.
My wife/KH will let me have the key for when I'm working as it is a physical and demanding job I do, but I must ask her permission first to unlock, and prove with a photo I've relocked.
Otherwise the key is kept by her in a signed sealed envelope in a place only known to her.
Again glad to hear your recovery is going well, take care.
Great photo as well :)

The whole point of this is that she was at home with me. But none of us didn't think about unlocking me. I am locked all the time. My cage is part of me. So when accident happend priority was to get me safely to the ER. The fact that I was caged never crossed our minds.

Of course if your locked full time it's not going to be the first thing on your mind in a situation like that.
Unfortunately in my case the emergency was device related. that I wouldn't wish on anybody!

That's how I am... Always locked 24/7/365, except for weekly deep clean which is only 20 minutes and then I'm back in the cage immediately. Emergencies never cross my mind and none of my keys ever leave the residence, no matter what.

It happens to me years ago going to the Hospital by ambulance, and I was out, but beside the cage eight piercings and my locked collar and whip marks all over my back from a play party. I jumped though the hoop for days proving she was not abusing me, Or I was not held against my will. Having to speak with all these people who did not believe me. Some changes I made, my Doctor and His staff had to know the complete truth. I feel for you but understand we think never going to happen to me? Good luck on your recovery, so happy you are ok.

Glad there was no serious damage and your on the mend now, it won’t be the first time they have seen something like that show up on a x ray.
I used to work on healthcare to and have never seen a chastity device my self but have heard others mention about seeing cages on penises, I did see lots with piercings/multiple piercings, and the best was a man in his 70s with about 20 of the largest gauge piercings in his penis/scrotum!
It was quite impressive!

I agree that people working there have seen a lot. Especially things they have to retrieve from rhe butt...
But I live in a country with only 2M people, so I don't believe they have seen much of those.

Glad you are on the mend and it wasn’t more serious.
I had to be transported by ambulance for an emergency years back. We had just started playing with chastity but I was not locked and only had a titanium pa ring in. Needless to say I was in no condition to remove it and the er and radiation technicians asked only if it could be removed. When told it needed special tools they just left it in and worked around it. When my wife made the decision to lock me up all the time we took into consideration this incident.

We use a evotion chastity bijou with a titanium pin. We figure if she is around she always has the key on her necklace. If she isn’t and I’m able I could always break the part of the device that isn’t metal. If I'm not in the shape to do that then it’s the last of her concern. The cage can easily be cut and removed if need be. A good Dr. friend once told me never wear anything that we can’t cut off.
