Well, I did surprise my wife by ordering their Jailbird mini. I anguished over the circumference , as that is the only dimension they cannot alter. After reading posts, and doing repeated "squashed to 1 inch" diameter measurements, I increased it 3/8 inch from my full flaccid (original age) measurement. When it arrived, I thought, "Oh now. It's too big". But it wasn't . It was perfect. As was their workmanship, as usual. I was very skeptical of wearing a much smaller cage, but I was shocked to agree it was more comfortable. When my wife saw it on, she loved it. Thought it was much cleaner lines, no bulges between the gaps. Kept praising it looks. So, combined with the increased gap Mistress Mature Metal recommended to reduce ball burn, an all around win,. except for the fact she likes it so much, there will probably be even fewer releases.
