    Ok, so I tried a few more things with that strap and I determined that I best put it on with my steel Keyholder's Prize first thing in the morning before I get all aroused and excited, because I'm very physically sensitive. I did that this morning and it worked well. I didn't shoot my load in the process and I still have it on. :+1:

    Second thing I determined is I'd rather not wear it with my other cages because my plastic cages do not allow me to pee while standing up (deal breaker) and my other steel cage, the Cage of Shame, has a gap out in front that allows my cock head to poke through while the strap is on. That's no good either either. So, my Keyholder's Prize cage is best for the strap.

    And third, The elastic strap was causing some irritation after wearing it overnight, so I'm not wearing a cage at night anymore. I need to rest up and I feel with a good night's sleep every night, I can deny myself orgasm as long as I want without getting desperate after a few weeks. The lack of sleep was a MAJOR contributor to me getting desperate after a whole month in the cage, so eliminating that factor should make everything much more tolerable.

    These do work well. I do find them kind of expensive though. I ordered 10 yards of the elastic strapping and the snap kit from Amazon for about $20. It took me an hour and a half to make 9 copies. Super easy project.

    They help keep the cage in place better but they do zero for security

    Security not so much, but they do prevent cage sagging and seem to keep everything in place. Especially with a heavier steel cage.

    The solution i came up with was some vinyl covered steel cable, some heat shrink, and some cable crimps.
    I created a belt that would loop around posts in my base ring, when my cage goes on, the loops are not able to be removed. essentially turning my cage into a light weight chastity belt.

    Well the problem wasn't the strap itself... Turned out the problem is I'm very sensitive, so if I'm even just a tad aroused when putting my cage on, strap or no strap, then I'm liable to blow my load.

    if you are able to get your cage on while aroused, you might need a smaller cage, its supposed to not let you get hard.

    Just be careful if you plan to sleep in that thing. I got a strap like it, and the night time erections caused it to chafe so bad I got rashes

    I recommend getting one made of silicone instead. Should be much less rough on the skin and you even afford to get it wet if need be

    Well, I'm not wearing my strap to bed... If I do, then it wouldn't be intentional. When I first got the strap I kept it on for 3 days straight and started getting a minor skin irritation, so I just use the strap if I really need the cage to be held firm while on the move. I did sleep with it twice since then, but neither times were intentional. I was just so tired those 2 nights that I just plopped onto the bed and crashed out.

    Anyway, I would never try to wrap a steel cable around me because I need something that'll stretch and not leave a pressure seam around me, so for me it's either elastic or forget it.

    i took the chafing into account, i have heat shrink over it, and its only shrunk at the ends. the rest is loose, it works very well to keep it from chafing, i am able to wear it with no problems. i have been for months now.

    Yeah im surprised there are not more security based straps, on cages that have locator pins on the ring you can use a suitable sized chain as a strap.
