I recently bought one of the excellent JailBird devices, and am generally very pleased with it - no problems with erections (they don't happen ! ) and security and solidity are perfect.

But I have an occasional problem of getting a "burning" sensation on the scrotum skin at the base of the ring. This was a major problem with my CB6000S which is why I went with the JailBird, as everyone seems very happy with theirs.

With a bit of gentle persuasion, I can cure the problem by moving the skin through the ring to give slack around my balls, which reduces the tension and all is well, but over an hour or so it builds up again. I have used E45, a lanolin-based soothing cream which also cure the problem, often for a day or so.

The device is used either as a punishment/tease/denial for a week or two, when it is 24/7, or for whenever I am away from my wife during the working day etc. so comfort is a requirement.

I had a very uncomfortable few minutes on day 4 of a 24/7 lock-in when my left testicle pulled through the gap - something I don't want to repeat ! I had used perhaps too much of the cream, and it must have acted as a lube and been enough to allow the painful movement.

Burning seems to be caused by too small a gap, but obviously increasing the gap is not an option, if anything it needs reducing. So, any comments ?

I wonder if you can wrap something around the bottom of the ring. Maybe some soft material or plasters to soften up the contact surface area and maybe add more resistance to slippage movement of scrotal skin on the ring.

You shouldn't be able to let a testicle slip through, no matter how much cream you're using. I wonder if perhaps the "A" ring is too loose? Maybe it's allowing too much skin to pass, leading to burning.

I find that when I need a bowel movement, I get a lot of burning. Once I relieve myself, it goes away in a few minutes. As far as I know, nobody else has ever commented on this happening to them.

usually the burning sensation is associated with to tight of a gap.

I agree with Billus that something is not adjusted properly if a testicle can slip through.

I switch between a Watchful Mistress and a Jailbird and have worked my way down in base ring size but one constant is that I apply a dab of Aveeno Moisturizing lotion with Aloe twice a day on the base ring. Once at the beginning of the day and once before I go to bed. Does the trick and ended any chaffing or burning sensations.

    Good luck.

I use baby oil just before bed, both around the base ring, and the underside of the cage where it's in contact with my testicles.
