Cage at night

(I should have said stuffy, not runny) But, no idea. They do say it's a possible side effect.

If it's bad (ie: can't use my mouth, because I need it to breathe) I've used Affrin nasal spray, which works wonders for the moment. Unfortunately, I pay for it the next day with sinus issues and the odd bloody nose.

Other times it causes maybe a little stuffiness, but not enough to bother me.

 

That sounds like more trouble than it's worth... I'd try the alternative and see if it's any better.

 

I have the same issue with sildenafil now and again. It's not terrible, but it does happen every few times when I take it. Usually because I ate to close to taking the pill. It's absolutely better to take sildenafil on an empty stomach

 

I too take the 5mg cialis (generic) and I give it high marks. I had taken viagra (generic) before but found it to come on too strong. It'd work great, but I'd get neck aches and sometimes a head ache. The daily 5mg cialis is perfect. No side affects (other than lowering my already high blood pressure a bit). And I'm always ready. I find it much much better than the viagra. For one, you've got to anticipate when you'll need it. Should I take it or shouldn't I? What if I take it and we don't fool around? I've waisted a pill. I didn't like taking a pill two days in a row so that would knock tomorrow off the calendar too. With the daily cialis, that is never a concern.

The testosterone supplements were great. But there are risks. Do you go and get blood tests. Combined with semen retention and wearing a cage, my testosterone was through the roof. Way, way too high. It caused my prostate to get irritated and a slight infection. Had to go to a urologist to straighten things out and they recommended not taking testosterone. Not only does it raise your hemoglobin which makes your blood thicker and risks strokes, it is like food for prostate cancer. Doesn't cause cancer but as we age, the risk of prostate cancer goes up. And if it begins to grow, the testosterone makes it grow faster. Normally, prostate cancer is slow growing. So is easily detected before it has gotten out of hand. With testosterone it grows quicker and may have progressed some before they detect it. They made a pretty strong case for avoiding testosterone therapy. But it was nice. Felt as horny as a 20 year old. Those were the days.

I do find that with locking up and with a certain amount of semen retention, I'm plenty horny anyway.

 

I’ve been on TRT for 7 years now, I’m 51, get labs done every year now that I’ve been on this protocol for the past 5.5 years after some adjustments, and early on had labs done every couple months. My T level is currently what most would consider very high, however in my lifetime, they’ve continued dropping the numbers as far as what “normal” is, I think it’s ridiculous. But that’s my opinion. My psa level gets tested in my labs, it’s always within .2 of what it was from my first labs pre cage and pre TRT. So that’s a good thing.
And yes, if all men live long enough, we’ll all get prostate cancer, well something like 80-85% of us.
in my case, when I went to get hormones checked I literally felt the worst I’ve ever felt in my entire life. Every symptom of low T to the point of not caring if I was alive or not. I will take T forever if possible, may adjust my level as I get way older, but I feel like I’m in my early 20’s and will hold onto that for as long as possible lol
Obviously each person is different and needs to do what’s best for them. And I’d recommend seeing a doc that actually understands hormones, most GP’s are terrified of TRT like it’s the devil

There's no right or wrong way to live a locked life. A lot happens between the ears anyway.

Sleeping with cage on is important for me for several reasons. I do have night time erections which do wake me up but it is part of the experience, I deal with it and accept the consequences.

However I do not take chances with abrasions, irritations or blood circulation problems. The minute these symptoms show up I take a break or I try another cage model.

For erection related scrotum flare due to the ring pulled forward, neutral skin lotion before going to bed seems to work for me.

Absolutely, 24/7 is a must otherwise it's not really chastity and from my point of view the cage has to be so small that nighttime erection are impossible. By the way if the goal is to shrink the cock (which is my goal for hubby) to avoid nighttime erections is more important then to avoid uncaged erections. For my hubby erections are something of the past, his cock is retired.

I wear a small cage myself 24/7. It's just under my flaccid length, as I don't want to allow any expansion at all while locked in it. You see, I'm a grower and when I start expanding, my body is going to do whatever it must to coax me into allowing a full erection, so even partial erections can be painful at times. It's better for me to stop any expansion in the first place, so there's no pain or discomfort, just blissful frustration from not being able to get hard no matter how aroused I get.
