Has anyone had a CB-X cage where over time dirt and oils etc would accumulate inside the seam? it is just like less than 1/4" space along the seam that has dirt in it. I assume it's just oil, dead skin cells, or some dirt that accumulates over time.

It seems no matter what I try and do or how often I clean the cage, I cannot get that tiny bit of dirt out. I have tried all kinds of cleaners and brushes. Has anyone else had this happen? If so, how did you clean it if you were able to do so?

    Thanks!

I also had this problem and never found a solution.

Glad to know I am not the only one. I wish I knew of a way to clean it.

    I got it clean!

I used a combination of hydrogen peroxide and some baking soda. I let it soak a bit and used a hard bristled toothbrush to scrub it. Then I rinsed and soaked it again. I also added vinegar to the baking soda. It became clean!
