So, I've been wearing a 'Cobra' that I bought from EBay for the grand sum of £11. It's been very comfortable and I had been wearing it 24/7 for about 6 weeks. Yesterday however it broke! Since I liked the fit, I've now been looking at the official Cobra site. The devices look identical to the cheap one I bought, so my question is: At they really better quality given they are 5-6 times the price?
good question. I have one like that too but mine is the next size bigger. fits great. so far has not broke and feels good. also wonder it the real ones are better. I did have to do some sanding on the rough edges
After several months wear, the surface of my Cobra knock off lost its shine and I started having an allergic reaction whenever I tried to wear it. I have a “real” Cobra on order. I am looking forward to its arrival soon.
I have read that some people react to the black dye used in making these cages. One poster recommended washing the cage in hydrogen peroxide. If anyone has tried this, I would to hear the results.
The material finishing on your Cobra clone looks strange and not like the real Cobra cage I own. I also think that the costs are not only for material and labour but also for the idea/design. Recreating something which others have invented is always easier and cheaper. I can highly suggest the (original)/cobra cage. Lightweight and well designed.
I had the same problem with a cheep clone. Broke in the same place. I have a very strong penis At the moment I'm spending all my time locked in a resin clone of the cobra, mainly because she likes the colour. But this one is a much more expensive clone and resin seems stronger than 3d printed. I am thinking about a real one though, I'm really impressed by the comfort of the design and would like to try the real thing. Just a little worried it won't be strong enough.
Never had trouble with the real thing for over a year and a half. Have a black one and the new pink one so my wife can decide how she wants to accessorize
Genuine kink3d.com cobra are worthed the price difference. Better plastic composite quality. No paint flaking (I can only talk about the black one) Less movement of the cage at the ring (again that's my experience, but I heard that it's not always a perfect fits due to 3d printing tolerances on the parts) Lock stay in much better (i.e. less loose) For parts movement, saw a truck to minimize pinching, is to use small O-rings made for keyboard on the 2 prongs
