After we got our Mature Metal Watchful Mistress that was modified to allow the PA to be locked in, we sent our original one back to MM for an upgrade.

We're having the base ring converted to a double and the cage modified to accept the PA jewelry. The 'new' cage will allow us to stretch the PA from a 4ga to a 2ga.

The new jewelry is from Painful Pleasures and has a unique 'pop fit' captive ball system. It is advertised as 'much more secure.'

We'll post pictures with the new setup soon. (And maybe a video of the process of removing the old cage and replacing it with the new one.)

I have a side keyed metal HT (v3 I think) it's a great device but is very heavy. I found a waist belt very useful in supporting it

Happy for you, but unclear what it has to do with our post?

The WM with a double base ring is unlikely to be substantially heavier than our current WM. I certainly can't imagine needing a belt to support it.

Oops. That's embarrassing. Commented on the wrong post. I got a bit distracted.

Once again apologies and it definitely doesn't have anything to do with your post.

Just got to remember which one it should have gone on :(

    No harm done!

We also find that we are following more than one thread and have occasionally responded to the wrong one.

    Enjoy your journey!

Congrats, will be curious to hear how the double base rings works for you. Been considering the same and while we're all different, still good to hear directly from a user.

This is the newly modified cage on. The double base ring is just as comfortable and the additional weight is very comforting.

It may not be clear from the picture, but the ring at the end of the chain, a new item from MM, makes a cross with the PA jewelry which effectively widens the size of the jewelry so that it cannot come out of the cage.

While our previous arrangement, which we've detailed on this site before, required an extremely painful and bloody procedure to remove, it was possible without the key.

With the chain attached to the PA jewelry and the whole thing contained inside the cage, there is no room for the tool needed to open the jewelry inside the cage. Therefore, there is no way to remove the cage without the key. (Short of a pair of bolt cutters. We had to go that route once before when there was a medical emergency and it is very unnerving to have a burly fireman with a three-foot-long bolt cutter that close to those bits.)
