Imagine if all the keys for your chastity device were lost, either by accident or intentionally. How would you feel?

This actually happened to me last week. The spare key (other's call it the emergency key) was missing. It should be in Lady C's safe but when she went to look for it, it was missing. She looked for the normal key which should be on her key ring, and she had taken it off..... and now couldn't find either.

Her stock answer to things like that "nah, you're fine".

Its an exciting, but impractical fantasy.

There may be the day when you have an emergency medical appointment and the cage will not help the process. I went through this for an appendectomy. Cages and CT/MRI scans don't mix. The doctor inadvertently got an eyeful, but I was able to get home and remove it on the way to the scan.

That's one of the few things we would unlock for - think the CTs are OK, its is MRI that's got the big magnets. Think the last CT I had I didn't have to remove any jewellery at all.

If you're in a CT scanner and they're doing a pelvic scan on you, they won't do it while you're wearing a cage, either. They may not care if you're having a chest scan done, but it absolutely would interfere with a pelvic scan.

Last couple of scans were chest and head, so no problems there. But if I ever get a pelvic scan the cage will need to come off. Not because of any safety reason but because the cage will show up on the images and make the scan pointless.

Thanks for your concern though.

My KH actually misplaced the key this week. She said she couldn’t find it, she usually has it in her pocket daily. We grabbed the emergency key I have in my lunch box with the security tag and it was no big deal. I had extra keys for the K3D lock we use on my Cherry Keeper. Locked back up with the same lock with no problems.

A few day later she walked up and said “I found something… … in the chicken pen…”

Worked out for us, that’s all that matters.

The size of padlock that secures a chastity device is very easily broken apart.
They're all made of very soft easily machined alloys, so if preserving the device is not the priority, then locks and devices are very easily broken apart.

Ordinary padlocks will fall apart using a lever or two spanners/wrenches to force the shackle open.
The weak part of an integrated lock is the locking bar, that can be snapped off.
If neither part is easily accessible, they can all be opened by drilling through the keyway which will completely destroy the barrel of the lock - but clamp the lock and use a hand drill unless you're both brave and foolish!

Accident and emergency departments have boltcutters that will destroy most chastity devices in 10 seconds flat - no need to worry on that score - the biggest injury will only be to your feelings.

I still don't see how a routine, scheduled visit us an emergency.
