I'm interested in getting a smaller cage than what I currently have, and have been looking into cages with a urethral insert. I have no experience in sounding. It is my understanding that long term wear increases the risk for an infection, so I would only wear the cage for a period of 2-6hrs and remove before sleep.
To those who have used a cage with a urethral tube/catheter/insert, what was your experience like? What material was the insert? Any pain outside of the normal chastity discomfort? Your general thoughts on the urethral tube?

I have worn before such cage with the short steel urethral ending before the ring.. so when erection comes, the end tip could be some pain.. try those steel urethral tubes which extends into the body slightly. There are some long extended ones which goes deep passing thru the prostate.. i only worry that the steel end tip may dislocate from the plastic/silicone urethral tube.. and end up calling medics..urethral tubes force the pee hole to be dilated all the time.. so infection may be possible.. i didnt wear it long term.. but urination is much easier.. anyway.. i no longer wear it anymore
