Hi all, I fall between the xl and xxl rings. The xl rubs hard and can creat chafing. The xxl can cause a ball to slip out with lots of movement. After emailing the company, they suggested using tubing over the xxl from a hardware store. Has anyone had to do this or tried it? If so, what did you find to work well?
Either way, customer service suggested a tubing to go over the ring to close the gap on the larger ring. My main question was if anyone has done this and what did you find? I can make the smaller work if I use some petroleum jelly, but I understand it isn’t the best for medical grade plastic.
There are so many different devices out there, it would be very difficult to help with this question without saying what brand and model device you have.
Having said that, putting tubing over a ring to make the internal diameter larger does not sound like a long term solution. Most of the off the shelf devices have an option for a 50mm ring, maybe that would work for you.
It’s very likely you’ll find an off the shelf one that works. Look on eBay etc for a simple design like this
