I agree, there are exceptions to every rule. However, in general I think most guys will do better with smaller, rather than bigger cages. Plus, most guys will want to downsize their cage over time if they are locked 24/7 or something close to that.
Yes, you can get chaffed with a cage that is too long. Aim for the same length as your flaccid penis. Ideally get the same design as the longer one so you can seemlessly swap between the two.
Thanks, I've ordered a CB-X Mr Stubb which is 4,5cm long. That's about my size flaccid and for now I decided to use a plastic cage.
Thats what I did... Once you have the ring size sorted you can switch over to a metal pretty easily.
For your reference, my CB ring size was ring #3.... which for me matched almost exactly the 45mm Ternence hinged cage with the included rubber tubing installed.
Also note, you can buy the latex tubing very cheap from any hardware store.
