Total length

Hi,

so, I'm about to order my first properly fitted cage. I'm thinking about getting the cherry keeper.

The only problem I have is the total length. Flaccid, I'm at about 10 cm/3,9 inch.
But the long model of the cherry keeper is only 3 inch/7,4 cm in length.

Now I read that the average flaccid size is about 9,14cm/3,6 inch...

So is the cherry keeper just for small dicks? Or am I doing the math wrong?

How many times on you measured your self? Don’t just go with one measurement, measure your self at different times of the day to get a true measurement.

Have you looked through the Cherry Keeper Customs area on Shapeways? There are some customized cages there that are longer. For example, the CKC-DQYQOK-20 model that I'm currently using has an overall length of 95mm.

Oh nice that could be a solution. But isn't it weird, that the average person needs a custom cage since the defaults are way too small?

Ring size and cage diameter are more important than "exact fitting length", I discovered. Well, with the CK range you may select the correct ring size quite easy. Whilst flacid, I am also 10 cm length, but also 38 mm in diameter. Therefore, I have selected the CK small wide (61 mm) and long wide (75 mm) to accomodate my diameter and experiment with length. Both fit rather well in terms of comfort, although hygiene is an issue (see my other posts on this).

I know what you mean. I had the same problem with the resin cages I tried. It seems everyone is different. First, there are growers and then there are show-ers. I seem to fall in-between those extremes. I've also heard that some elasticity is lost as one ages. Going on 65 here, so my flaccid length might not be as small as it used to be.

You gotta add the following up...

1: Base Ring Diameter
2: Gap Distance (Distance between Ring and Cage)
3: Cage Length

and this is just my suggestion, get a cage diameter slightly larger than you need, so you can subtract roughly a 1/2 inch from all these measurement. The wide the cage, the more can get packed in.

For example, my base ring is a double ring, .25 inches per, this is a 1/2 inch.
My Gap is 1/2 inch.
My cage is 1 1/2 inches.

This is a total length of 2 1/2, but my cage diameter is 1 3/8 inches allows me to pack more in my cage allowing my cage to be short.

Your confusion about average penis length being more than the average cage size suggests that most men buying a cage are below average in size. I'm sure the production folks know their market, so that's why they offer those sizes as standards. Now i like having a cage a bit tighter than my flaccid length, so that might work for you too. Every guy is different. Good luck and enjoy.

I prefer a cage smaller than my flaccid size. I’m currently using the small, which says 61mm so (2.4in) - yet my flaccid length is about an inch longer than that. To be honest, the short is even more comfortable but due to my junk being squished up it’s harder to keep things clean in that model.

My guess is the long would work just fine, but if you want more options for length I think kink3d.com would be another solid option to check out.
