Why I prefer a plastic cage over a steel cage...

I know this is gonna be controversial, but this is just me being honest... I have both steel and plastic cages and I do like them both, but I still prefer a plastic cage that fully engulfs my cock over a steel cage that's more open. The reason may sound kind of weird, but the fact is I only stay locked up while I'm at home since that's the only place where I'd jerk off in the first place, so there's no need for me to stay locked 24/7 (I tried that and ran into health issues).

The main reason I prefer a plastic cage that fully engulfs my cock is for the simple fact that I can't directly stimulate myself while locked in it, where as I could with a steel cage that's more open to the air. I know that's supposed to be more hygienic (not arguing that), but my main reason for getting into chastity was to simply stop myself from jerking off multiple times every single day. I can still play with my cock and induce a caged orgasm with a steel cage again, fact the steel cage allows me to get my fingers on my cock is what can cause me to slip up and get an unintended orgasm. That's far less likely to happen with a plastic cage that fully engulfs me.

Yes, that’s my point… There are times I just can’t control my urges no matter what I do to suppress them. I mentioned in my journal a few days ago that I had to unlock myself for a full day to address a skin condition and I was right back to my old habit.

Thankfully I very rarely get an urge while in the shower. I kinda owe that to the fact that hot water doesn’t last very long where I live so I need to shower fast and there’s just no time to play in it.

As for night time, sometimes I wake up with an urge but more often I don’t, so when I do I just put the cage on and wait it out and then I can drift off back to sleep.

 

Hmm… Interesting. I can settle in the moment I put the cage on and as long as I don’t need to take it off just to pee then I’m good. I used to have to do that in my first couple months. That was very annoying and I’m glad I don’t need to anymore. Means I don’t need to keep the key in the bathroom anymore and that in turn, removes an element of temptation. So I’m proud of the progress I made on that.

 

Those honestly look too big and too wide for me. I tried something similar that was recommended to me by someone else here in CM and I ended up throwing it away because it was alot bigger than they said it was.
