Kinkiest thing? You really don't understand the chastity lifestyle. Sure, some guys in chastity have very kinky lives, but that is not what is at the core of chastity. Chastity in itself is not inherently kinky. My wife beating my arse with a crop, well that is a bit risqué.

 

Lol. So your hypothesis is that religious people are responsible for me being in chastity. I think that the oness is on you to explain your farout whacky theory.

Well, yeah. Haven't you ever heard that Catholic girls are the wildest in bed? And there are tons of stories on the preacher's daughter. Seriously though. I think religion adds a dynamic to sex, kind of puts it in a special place spiritually. Don't forget, the bible essentially starts with sex (adam and eve)

 

My bad, I guess I wasn't precise with my words (and I guess chastity isn't considered kinky here lol).

I guess what I mean is who would've guess that it is the religious people who are responsible for the creation of the device (and later lifestyle) we all love and enjoy

And just to add. Families that have 11 kids. I think you'll find every one of them is religious. There's a lot of something going on.

I wonder if there's any correlation in regards to the type of religion. I know muslims generally breed like rabbits, but they don't come across as the demographics that would be into the chastity life.

 

A little late to the party here, but I find the topic interesting. I’ve read most of the books, as best I could, considering they are a bit tedious and usually someone’s translation of a translation.

I have observed that the stories are similar, to a point that if it were the publishing industry, a copyright law or two would certainly would be broken.

One thing I found interesting was the core of the Muslim religion was based on the fundamental principles of adherence to the rules of other religions. Religion on steroids so to speak. Of course they are a bit closer to Jewish and Old Testament than the modern New Testament and Christianity.

I myself believe that if religion institutions could have sold the idea of chastity, device and all, they would have. Different sectors of Christianity arose with differing levels of morality. Some would have embraced it thoroughly, but would not have competed well against others.

Which brings me to what religion really is trying to do. They are selling. Selling ideas, selling fears, selling behaviors, selling rituals. We pay, with money, with obedience, with blind faith.

So I think that religion and chastity could and would commingle, and that it’s right on the money with many of them. It would probably come with exceptions. I doubt very much that affluent married men giving up their sexual freedom to their wives would be easy to sell. Selling the story that women are the property of men, and must obey them was a much easier sell.

 

Yes it's the same. Religion is a sales pitch, but the salesmen, and it is usually men, believe in the product. I think @Nicoftime makes an interesting point.
