    I was just going to ask the dimensions also, as my cage is a little too big, and I'd like to downsize. will try to find the dimensions on my and add in here.

    didn't find the measurements in time to edit, but here they are:

    Length: 2.5"
    Cage Diameter: 1 3/8"
    Base ring: oval 1 7/8" double ring
    Gap: 3/8"

    not noticably, but more comfortable, seems to spread the load more...
