@racyphoto, welcome! I consider your way of approach as ambitious and having a high risk to end up in a disaster. Devotion to your better half is not created by "handing over the keys". Communication and "touch the subject" first may be of great help. Dig out this platform first, before you decide about your final approach. I assume your goal is to "win her" and not to "lose her". Talk to her first. Share with her your thoughts and why you feel it will be beneficial for you both.
