My wife took charge of finances 2 months ago

Financial control is a powerful tool.

 

That was the first thing my wife demanded as part of our FLM. All of our money is in her personal account. All of my credit cards were taken away and destroyed. Our house and car are in her name only. All of my clothes are bought by her without my input. I am given $20 a week in dollar bills as an allowance.

 

My wife is taking an early retirement and has already said we will be poorer but she will take control of 'our' finances as I waste money! It slightly worries me but deep down she is actually right!

 

Or even the Find my phone app on an iPhone works. Lol

 

I agree with many of the previous post that financial domination is critical to an flr. No longer being able to spend money freely is important for the submission to your Domme. For me personally it’s something that when done and done correctly is a constant reminder of your roll in the marriage. Sure I can go take money out, but I would expect my wife to call me on it if I do and I would expect serious repercussions if it was frivolous spending.

 

We have a shared account, but I don't have a card for it, Mistress has internet banking and all the passwords. I get an allowance so I can shop for food and cleaning products. I can buy things I want like snacks/drinks but anything beyond that I have to get permission. It's been like this for years and I'm happy with it, I was utterly useless with money beforehand.

The only change recently is that we used to both agree on big purchases, since I've become a house husband she just tells me that she earns the money so she makes the decisions. I didn't think we needed a new kitchen but I've been overruled. As I'm the one that uses the kitchen I've had to choose all the units, finishes and deal with the tradesmen. It's actually been quite tough but I'm happy with what I chose.

 

My Keyholder and i are taking the requisite steps to combine our finances this year. There are some tricky matters that require some time to fix, but ultimately this is a key component to Her assuming total control over me.

Financial control really adds a new dimension to the D/s dynamic. It will be interesting to see how we develop.

 

Totally agree. We are thinking about this rather radical (for me) hand off as part of our FLM dynamic. After being her dominant for over a decade, talk about a role reversal!

 

In our case, all our assets are in my name. Hubby signed over everything to me when we started our FLR. Cars, our house, bank accounts and even our business are all mine. I also have a Power of Attorney from him, but have not had a need to use it yet.
He gets a weekly allowance and that's it.
Without controlling the money, I don't think a woman is fully in control. But that is just us.

 

Before we started chastity, when my wife and I got married she quit her job and became a stay at home wife/mom, despite the fact that she actually made more than me. She took over all the finances then. It's kinda what led us to chastity. I make a $100k+ a year (not counting draft kings) and get $40 a week. Anything I need tho she usually helps me out with and I usually get a few thousand after taxes are paid on draft kings to use how I want too. Her taking over the finances are what lead us down the road to chastity.

 

For my wife, financial control is essential to our power exchange, which extends to the bedroom. She is dominant in every aspect of our marriage, which includes breaking my manhood in order to make me completely submissive.

 

Financial control enhances submission.

When Wanda and I go out, she has my wallet, money, cards, id, phone and watch. I have nothing. I know that I am totally dependant.

 

We have graduated to her telling me where to sit when we eat out, what to eat & drink but she is yet to take a similar step and strip me of wallet, ID, etc! Good for you ...
