Porn in a FLR or in any relationship.

I have read through one of the previous threads stated why do mean watch porn .... and I wanted to extend a little onmy musings about porn in general.

Since stumbling across the mansion I have gone through a few changes. ( I did not join straight away(long time reader short term poster ))

In the beginning to be honest some of the stories basically got me off and I replaced a porn habit with reading through the forum (sorry to those this insults). Me and my girlfriend/keyholder had quite an in depth conversation about the societal expectations on men and woman and how we both don't really fit into them. Which means (apart from the obvious destructive nature of porn i.e. terrible working conditions to borderline and outright sex slavery) that she feels like, if I am in a relationship with her and am attracted to her, than how can i be attracted to women who dress up in such a way and act in such a way. She is also new to the dominant side but has always been very dominant in her opinions especially on feminist theories.

So what is the point I am trying to get to. Well I have been socialized in such a way that I was led to believe as a man i should not only watch porn but also, really, only weird people don't. This led to what I believe became a porn addiction. I am still wondering if instead of completely quitting porn i.e. like i did with cigarettes, I replaced it with this game of chastity. I say this because i become increasingly more interested in porn and have to actively stop myself going to certain sites the less attention I get from my gf. I feel like I am getting stronger in this regard but it is problematic because I DO NOT want to disappoint my GF in this dept. She is my world and I love her to pieces and am so happy we are travelling down this road together.

One last note: there is a part to this website that states "please do not use your junk as your avatar because it might insult the ladies of the site" (or something along those lines but regardless there are also some pretty explicit Avatars from ladies and men which I believe would completely turn my girlfriend off of joining this site and to be honest definitely trigger me in a way I wish they didn't in my own personal battle with porn. That being said the people I have met here have mostly been amazing and i really thank everyone who has made the effort to make me feel welcome.
