    I need this for my manifesto, but I thought this was worth its own thread!

    Can you help me find a term that's the equivalent of keyholder, but for women who prefer their man locked, especially in the bedroom:

    Two came to mind that could be repurposed:
    • Virgo: The star sign and Latin for "virgin". Captures the "no penises" aspect.
    • Virago: Originally, a woman who displays manly virtues. Became a slur in the 19th century. Reclaimed by a feminist press in the 20th. Has the advantage of sounding like virgin.

    I'm curious as to why you're associating the "virgin" concept with this? Obviously there are some women who are happy not to deal with intercourse, but that does not apply to all of them.

    How about "claviatrix", as "clavis" is the Latin root for key? Or some variation on that?

    The greek prefix for none or no is “ou”

    Outopia (not a typo) means no + Place.

    (Utopia really means “nowhere”)

    Thus: Outrix or Utrix or Outress or Utress.

    That's good! Diana - the Roman equivalent - might be more familiar. The only two snags I can see are that it conjures up the image of a lithe maiden, and implies a hunter.

    If the goal is to try and have a word or phrase that could be used in conversation with a context of jargon or ambiguity, I suggest 'Lion Tamer'

    If the goal is something overtly sexual, I'd use 'Cock Locker'

    As in, "My wife is a real Lion Tamer", or alternatively "My wife is a real Cock Locker."

    There seem to be two quite different styles of male chastity.

    In one, the woman holds the key and enjoys the leverage, sexual and otherwise, it gives her. There's a lot of fun around teasing and denying and ruined orgasms and so on.

    In the other, the women is equally enthusiastic about male chastity, but treats it as neutering lite; no real interest in the key or anything centred on the man's experience.

    Keyholder works great for the first type. I'm looking for a term for a woman not interested in the key... or possibly not wanting one to exist.
